A Simple Solution

So let's see. The President wants more border patrol agents on our border with Mexico. Problem is, turnover is incredibly high (upwards of 25% per year). Nobody wants to do such a boring, mundane task (stare at border, wait for illegal aliens).

On the flipside, he wants a guest worker program to allow for otherwise illegal aliens to do the jobs that Americans wont do.

You thinking what I'm thinking? Even better, hire Mexican citizens to police the Mexico side of the border! That's gotta kill like 3 birds with one stone.

Requires Intelligence

Not too suprisingly, it was revealed this week that our government is not only bypassing (if not completely breaking) existing laws to make us safer, but is also collecting databases of everyone that you (that's right, you) call.

But before anyone gets upset, they should realize who we are dealing with here. This is the U.S. government. Do we really think that they could handle the task of snooping on individual Americans on this broad of scale? I have much more confidence in their abject incompetence then I have fear of their snooping into my personal affairs. So I say, go ahead big brother. Collect all the information you want. When it comes right down to it bro, you are nothing but a do nothing dropout living in mom's basement trying to piece together what exactly you did last night.

One other thing. I always chuckle every time Bush talks about his role in history and how history will judge him, etc. What he doesn't seem to realize is that its those darn academic elitists that he hates so much that will be writing the history books. Its not his old drinking buddy who'll be writing the 8th grade Social Studies book, it's the hybrid driving, hipster, poly sci graduate student. I'm guessing they may not portray him the way he thinks he should be portrayed.
