Spent all day today re-coding the style engine. Now its based 90% on style sheets and only 10% on javascript. The pages are loading and behaving much nicer now. For crappier browsers, there is still the occassional problem with the shortcut icon. But all browsers can now select a style (even Opera!). Gotta eat.

ok, so the 'color your fish' is working. but why wont it select the color after you submit it? you select blue, the fish turns blue, the form defaults back to red. stupid thing. anyway, gotta jiggle it a bit more. more to come, blah blah.

this is another testing test
I know. Its nuts. But i need to test. test test test. and test. testytest
I don't think I'm that lucky, but the comments redirect is working now. Everything else is too? nyay.
Is it feeding the feed? Lets test.
The blog is ready to go. I have gone through and all the bugs are gone. Lots of other stuff is done too. The site is validating well on all the validators (as far as I know). Anyway, gotta do something else with my life for a while.

What happens when I post two in one day? Let's find out!
Ok, so I have been really busy with this new site. I just added an RSS feed (because I know people are going to want to syndicate my blog!). No, I just did it because it was the next step and because its super cool. It was no piece of cake though. Its available at http://69.134.141.107/gnawfish.rdf.
It is also validating correctly according to the W3C. The whole RSS standards thing is a real mess. Long story short, Version 2.0 is not really a standard and the W3C seems to like my Version 1.0, so that's that. Lots more to do!

I am very close to having the site's template completely W3 compliant! Anyway, no one can see this yet, so really just interested in seeing how this tool handles multiple entries. Still lots to do!

Gnawfish 3.0 is currently under development. You are looking at the biggest development feature in the new version... its called greymatter and its a blogging engine. I like it so far. It is very customizable. Anyway, plenty more to report soon. This is really just a kind of test entry to see how everthing works.
More to come soon.
