So the president, fresh off being embarrassed into embracing the controversial 'Anti-Torture' position last week, has a new scandal. Apparently he's been illegally wiretapping American citizens (saying you're the President isn't going to fly on this one). But is that my favorite part of this story? Nope. Here's what this guy had the pair on him to say about whomever leaked this story:

"My personal opinion is it was a shameful act, for someone to disclose this very important program in time of war," Bush said. "The fact that we're discussing this program is helping the enemy."

Balls. This guy's got 'em. Nixon had 'em too. Maybe Dick Cheney will resign and somebody kick ass will take over as VP before Bush resigns or gets impeached. Is Gerald Ford out of the hospital yet?

President Bush learned today that we shouldn't be torturing people. But then again, nobody ever expects the Spanish Inquisition.

We pissed off Canada? Is there a foreign country anywhere in the world that does not hate us right now? Can't be a good time to be an American abroad.

Saddam Hussein decided not to show up to his Crimes Against Humanity trial today. He probably thought it was going to be kind of a drag, you know, listening to people tell the court how he used to kill and torture thousands of people. If only they could, I don't know, MAKE him go to court. Times were that when a puppet government had a propaganda trial, the dang patsies would be beaten, sedated, and dragged to court before they were summarily executed. Oh well....

In other news, Eminem, having not ever listened to any of his own songs, decided to get back with his ex-wife Kim.

And finally, some churches have announced they will cancel their Christmas services this year because Christmas falls on Sunday. So they are cancelling the celebration of the most important religous day of the year because it falls on the most important religous day of the week. I believe it was kyles mom who said it best when she said
"Brock Brock Brock?"
